Introducing Delano Yazzie, Navajo Beader, Jewelry-Maker

We would like to introduce you to our Yeego friend Delano Yazzie, a 31-year old Navajo bead artist and jewelry maker, who lives with her horse-trainer husband and children in Rock Point, Arizona, a little town in Apache County, in northeastern Arizona.

Delano began studying bead design, when she was only five years old, and has been perfecting her craft for more than 25 years. Delano sells her earring designs, primarily through her Facebook and Instagram sites, for $10-$30. Delano welcomes custom assignments and relishes the challenge of interpreting client ideas to create gorgeous, one-of-a-kind earrings, pendants, necklaces,
