Biden Administration Resumes White House Council on Native American Affairs

On April 23, Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland and Domestic Policy Advisor Susan Rice will convene the first White House Council on Native American Affairs meeting of the Biden-Harris administration. Secretary Haaland will serve as the Council’s Chair.

Israel To Open International Travel To Vaccinated Tourists In May

The Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced that it will open its borders to international travelers starting 23 May, provided they have been vaccinated. The country–which has been closed to tourism for over one year since the start of the pandemic–will open to travelers under a phased approach.

The Caribbean island has warned that an eruption is imminent after increasing activity in recent days, and ordered the evacuation of thousands. Carnival Cruise Line and the sister brands Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises all deployed ships to the Caribbean island on April 8.
